Privacy notice

How CIG SW LTD uses the personal information you give us through this website.

Who we are

This website is run by CIG SW LTD (trading as CIG, including CIG Construction, CIG Interiors and CIG Fire Protection), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13149357. Our registered office is Unit C22 Backfield Farm, Wotton Road, Bristol, BS37 9XD. CIG SW LTD is the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we receive the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, the site location and the project information you choose to share, including any links to documents.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. Like any web host, our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the website secure and working.

How we use it

We use your enquiry to respond to you, to prepare quotations or tenders you ask for, and to keep a record of our conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your agreement.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are delivered by email to the CIG team. We use service providers for website hosting and email, who process information on our behalf and under our instructions. We may share project information with our own supply chain where that is needed to answer your enquiry, and only with your knowledge.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to six years afterwards where they lead to a quotation or contract, in line with our business records. Enquiries that go no further are deleted within two years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or send it to you in a portable format. To make a request, call us on 0117 325 1718 or write to us at our registered office.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would welcome the chance to put things right first.
