CIG Fire Protection installed the doorsets and passive fire protection for the refurbishment of the first floor at One Castle Park, the eight-storey office building beside Castle Park in Bristol now marketed as BLOK, working for the main contractor over three months.
Four acoustic doorsets with vision panels were specified at 40 dB alongside an FD30 fire door, so seals, closers and locks were selected to meet both requirements. Service walls and bulkheads were built in fireboard with Rockwool batt seals to the penetrations, and the compartment lines were closed as the fit-out progressed.
