John Wood Court.
Six blocks, every door, every seal.
CIG Fire Protection installed the fire doors and fire stopping for the phased refurbishment of John Wood Court, the University of Bath’s city-centre student accommodation on Avon Street, working for the main contractor across six blocks from summer 2025.
Blocks A to D took 198 new doorsets (130 bedroom, 46 circulation and 22 bathroom doors) and 2,179 fire-stopping installations at 511 pinned locations on the plans. Blocks E and F followed with 145 doorsets and a further 750 installations recorded to date. Every seal is photographed, pinned to the drawing and logged as installed, and every doorset goes in under our BM TRADA Q-Mark scheme.
