The work and the detail.
CIG delivers agreed fire-stopping and fire-door remedial packages following existing reports and schedules. We separate the work that is clearly defined from the areas that need further investigation or design information, then plan access and completion around the building.
The work we cover
- Report-led fire-stopping remedials
- Defined fire-door maintenance and replacement works
- Phased work in existing buildings
- Records linked to the agreed work locations
Keep the report connected to the work.
Clear location references make it easier to agree what will be completed and to bring the resulting records together. Changes to the proposed scope are discussed rather than being hidden inside a general allowance.
Questions about this package
Can you work in an occupied building?
Access, working areas and sequencing are planned with the building team. Tell us about occupants, restricted hours and any access controls so these can be considered before the work is agreed.
What happens where the report needs clarification?
Unclear locations, inaccessible areas or unresolved details are identified during scope review. Any further investigation or design responsibility is agreed separately.
What should I send first?
The current report or schedule, site location and target programme. Include supporting drawings and photographs where available.
Documented from installation to handover.
We agree the records for the package before work begins, including location references, photographs and the applicable installation or maintenance documentation.
